Enjoy your Friday lunch breaks at the first annual Downtown Street Fair! Enjoy delicious food from local vendors and listen to live entertainment while enjoying the beautiful view of the capitol building encompassed by the vibrant city of Austin. Each Friday, starting April 1 and continuing until June 3, the Downtown Street Fair will highlight different vendors, artists, and entertainers, leaving attendees with suspense of what’s to come in the following week.

Clean Sweep

Every April, the nonprofit organization Keep Austin Beautiful hosts Clean Sweep, a city-wide event that recruits over 4,000 volunteers to help in removing waste in Austin and to maintain the beauty that the wonderful city has to offer. Following the cleanup is a volunteer party that consists of a free lunch, live music, and a multitude of activities for Austonites of all ages!

Eeyore’s Birthday Party

April 30 from 11:00 a.m. until dark

The 53rd annual birthday party for Winnie the Pooh character Eeyore is a fundraising event for nonprofits in Austin. Costumes are encouraged, as prizes will be awarded to kids who can rock the most creative ensemble. This daylong party is the perfect event for families to enjoy a beautiful day at Pease District Park while celebrating a character that has become a part of every childhood memory.
