#TeamTuesday – Jeremy Holland

With his strong work ethic and drive, he taught himself how to code and web design. He may be the newest member of our team, but he is jumping right in.

Jeremy Holland is an Austinite that went to The University of Texas at Austin for government. After working at the Capital, Jeremy felt it was time for a change and began working at HMG Creative early last week. He has taken on the role of HTML email design and development. His hobbies include BBQ-ing, swimming and relaxing at the beach.

To get to know our new team member, we asked him a few personal questions. Here are his answers:

What is your favorite restaurant in Austin?

  • My favorite is probably Tam Deli. It’s a vietnamese restaurant off N Lamar and 183. Great Bahn Mi.

If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

  • If I had my pick, I’d play shortstop for the Houston Astros. I’m a die hard baseball fan, and loved to play the game growing up. Unfortunately, I cannot hit a curveball.

If you had to be on a reality TV show, which one would you choose?

  • Top Chef: I am a bit of a foodie, but most of this comes in the way of making things. If I have the day to myself, I like to cook. My favorite creations recently are Arepas con Carne Mechada, Pho, Filet Gumbo and Pad Thai.

If you could learn another language, what would it be?

  • Spanish. My girlfriend’s family is from the Canary Islands off of Morocco, and she speaks fluent Spanish with her relatives. I take that time to nod and smile.

HMG Creative is excited to learn even more about Jeremy as he grows with us. Welcome to the team Jeremy, we are happy to have you!
