Spring has sprung, bringing\u00a0warm weather, sunny skies, and of course, a plethora of outdoor events to\u00a0the lively\u00a0city of Austin. Here’s what festivals we’re excited about for the months to come in Austin (and did we mention they’re all free?)

Enjoy your Friday lunch breaks at the first annual Downtown Street Fair<\/a>!\u00a0Enjoy delicious food from local vendors and listen to live entertainment while enjoying the beautiful view of the capitol building encompassed by the vibrant city of Austin. Each Friday, starting April 1 and continuing until June 3, the Downtown Street Fair will highlight different vendors, artists, and entertainers, leaving attendees with suspense of what\u2019s to come in the following week.<\/p>\n Every April, the nonprofit organization Keep Austin Beautiful hosts Clean Sweep<\/a>, a city-wide event that recruits over 4,000 volunteers to help in removing waste in Austin and to maintain the beauty that the wonderful city has to offer. Following the cleanup is a volunteer party that consists of a free lunch, live music, and a multitude of activities for Austonites of all ages!<\/p>\n The 53rd annual birthday party<\/a> for Winnie the Pooh character Eeyore is a fundraising event for nonprofits in Austin. Costumes are encouraged, as prizes will be awarded to kids who can rock the most creative ensemble. This daylong party is the perfect event for families to enjoy a beautiful day at Pease District Park while celebrating a character that has become a part of every childhood memory.<\/p>\nClean Sweep<\/h3>\n
