Primary Care Collaborative (thepcc.org) is a national, non-partisan nonprofit coalition that advocates for stronger, high-quality primary care as the foundation of the U.S. health system. It brings together diverse stakeholders — including health care providers, payers, patient groups, employers and others — to promote policies and best practices that improve health, reduce costs, and support whole-person care for all Americans.

The Challenge

The Challenge The Primary Care Collaborative (PCC) aimed to enhance its digital platform to better serve its extensive network of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, policymakers, and patients. The primary goals were to create an intuitive, informative, and engaging website that effectively communicates PCC’s mission to advocate for comprehensive primary care and disseminates valuable resources and policy updates. Improving user experience and ensuring easy access to a wealth of information were critical to support PCC’s initiatives and foster community engagement.

THE APPROACH

Brand Discovery

An in-depth brand discovery process was conducted to align the website with PCC’s core values and objectives. This involved analyzing PCC’s existing materials, mission statements, and stakeholder feedback to gain a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s identity. Recognizing PCC’s role as a leading national, nonpartisan, and multi-stakeholder voice advocating for better health and well-being through strengthened primary care informed the development of a design strategy that resonates with their diverse audience.

Web Design + Development

The design phase focused on creating a modern, user-friendly, and responsive website that embodies PCC’s commitment to health advocacy and collaboration. Key design elements included a clean and professional layout, easy-to-read typography, and a cohesive color scheme that reflects trust and authority. The navigation was structured to allow users to effortlessly explore sections such as Policy, Resources, News, Events, Membership, and About. Emphasis was placed on accessibility, ensuring that all users, regardless of their technical proficiency, can easily access and benefit from the site’s content.

The redesigned PCC website successfully transformed the organization’s digital presence, offering a dynamic and engaging platform for stakeholders involved in primary care advocacy.
