6 Ways To Get Into The Christmas Spirit: HMG Style


Ahh, December… The month that is filled with blankets, good food, smiles and love. If you’re like most people, you are already setting up the house for Christmas time! We are here to help you get things rolling with some of our favorite ways to get into the Christmas spirit! (these are in no particular order)

1. Play christmas tunes
This one is by far the best way to jump-start your holiday spirit. Just tune into Christmas stations, and let the Christmas spirit fill your house (or car) with carols and classics. Nothing beats a little Jingle Bell Rock

2. Check out all of the Christmas lights
Load up the car and drive through lit up neighborhoods. Maybe you will be inspired with a few new Christmas decoration ideas, and be sure to bring some candy canes!You can also check out housewarming gifts for men that comes with Christmas lights.

3. Make some Christmas ornaments
Creating a new ornament each year can become a wonderful Christmas tradition. Making your own Christmas ornaments is a fun way to show your holiday spirit, and makes for excellent personalized gifts for family friends, teachers and co-workers.

4. Have a night of hot chocolate and tree decorating
Decorating the tree is something to which everyone looks forward. Whether a kid of one or ninety-two, decorating the Christmas tree together as a family is a favorite Christmas tradition of ours. Take the time to remember where each Christmas ornaments came from, and what makes them special.

5. Have a Christmas movie marathon
Classics like Home Alone, A Christmas Story, and Elf are all great movies to watch with your friends and family. Pop some popcorn, and snuggle in for a night of Christmas movies.

6. Get the cookies ready for Santa
There’s no better way to seal the deal with a certain jolly guest, than with delectable baked goods, decorated to perfection. Just to be sure, you will probably need to test a few… batches.
