Austin, Texas is a hub for creatives, hippies, artists, and musicians. Being the live music capital of the world, the city is booming just about every night of the week. Zilker Park, along with beautiful Texas weather, offers opportunity for festivals and other large events downtown. It’s already been a busy week, and Austin is going to be buzzing this weekend, so we thought we’d catch you up on what’s going on in case you don’t have any plans!
For some, brunch is just a meal for when you’ve overslept past breakfast, and are hungry before an appropriate lunch time. For others, brunch is just an excuse for old girlfriends to get together. Austin, Texas is famous for its vibrant community of art, music, and culture with hip places like South Congress, Rainey Street, and nature’s finest trails. So it should come as no surprise that many Austinites have gravitated toward Instagram, as their mode of visually expressing the city’s self-described weirdness. Naturally, Austin is also home to many Instagram “celebrities” who remind their followers each and every day why this is the greatest place to live.
October is here, and you know what that means: ACL Fest is back! For the next two weekends, Zilker Park will be transformed into a live music haven.

Ryan joined the HMG Creative team in August 2015 after perfecting his pizza making skills at a San Marcos pizza parlor. A recent graduate from Texas State University with a BFA in Communication Design, Ryan has shown off his skills as a visual designer on our growing team. He wanted to become a member of HMG Creative due to the diversity of our projects. In addition to letting his creative mind fly, he likes the small company aspect that HMG provides. When he’s not watching Adam Sandler movies or eating an unnecessary amount of pistachios, he’s creating awesome graphic design work for our clients and blog posts.
