According to Dictionary.com, his last name means “to get out of a bus” and we’re oh so happy that “Debus” stopped here. Meet our email marketing developer, Dave Debus!

Originally from Kansas City, Kansas, Dave studied Illustration and Graphic Design at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. After leaving the sunshine state, Dave moved to the great city of Austin. In December of 2015, Dave began working for HMG Creative as the email marketing developer and has loved it here since. At work Dave is known for creating top of the line email marketing campaigns, but also known for his recommendations for the best food joints in Austin. Happy 240th Birthday America!

Of all the holidays celebrated in the United States, July 4th is the FOURTH most commonly celebrated. Coincidence? I think not. Whether you refer to July 4th as the Fourth of July, Independence Day or America’s Birthday, we are all happy to celebrate it together.

#TeamTuesday – Ian Wilson

Our favorite Austinite believes aliens are out there somewhere, yet not truly living because they don’t have tacos in their lives.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Ian Wilson joined the HMG Creative team as a designer and developer. Though that’s what it says on his business card, he helps out with a little bit of everything in the office. Ian attended The University of Texas at Austin and studied Advertising. In his last few years, he was one of the lucky few to be accepted and finish Texas Creative, one of the hardest Advertising programs in the country. GO IAN! He has a great sense of humor, believes his spirit animal is a squirrel and is a great addition to any team. Continue…

How to Make Your Office More Productive

When it comes to the work environment, the look, feel and atmosphere can really affect the productivity of the company. Studies have shown (including our own) that employees would rather work in a creative space rather than an all white painted concrete room. A few things that will spice up the office are colors, shaped furniture, greenery and views. Continue…

Before leaving for college, hopefully at the University of Colorado Boulder, he came to HMG Creative to get a head start in his career path.
