HMG Creative Unwrapped: The Whole Story

The Bold Beginning

At the age of 18, James Trumbly enlisted in the Marine Corps, kickstarting a lifetime of ambitious pursuits and bold endeavors. Four years later, after completing a tour in Iraq and Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, James returned home, wrapping up his military career and embarking on the next exciting phase of his life: business ventures. With an entrepreneurial spirit, James joined a friend in opening a car dealership and auto brokering business. The business flourished, bringing a host of opportunities and connections, as well as a need for improved marketing resources. James knew a web presence would be crucial to the business’ continued success, so he took on the task of designing and developing the company’s first website.  Continue…

Hey, there! My name is Thalia Carrillo and I’m the freshest member of the HMG Creative team. I’m thrilled to be the new Social Media and Marketing Intern! I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin less than a month ago, with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a minor in Sociology. My studies brought me to Austin four years ago, but I’m formerly and proudly an El Pasoan. When I’m not in either of those locations, you can find me traveling to places like New York, Mexico City, or Paris. I’ve even attended The University of London, where I studied Social Work.

As companies are forced to become more transparent in the age of clear and precise communication as well as more personal producer-consumer relationships, people are wanting to see their money go directly towards the receivers of work done by organizations which they decide to give to. Nowadays, these donations are seen more as an investment than just a gift. The Skippable Era: 5,4,3,2,1 Go…

As a student at UT’s Moody College of Communication, I am exposed to many amazing opportunities and professionals with vast experience in the industries of journalism, media and public relations just to name a few.
